Gently flowing

Slowly gaining

Speed

Then

Rushing gushing

Exploding over the edge

And

Falling

Almost

Drifting

Down

No longer a torrent

But still

Different

Suddenly

I land

Not defeated

But still

Different

I journey on

Softer now,

But I carry the memory

Of then.
